Factory Manager Mimura, Ike Co., Ltd.: “As a designer, I went through a lot of trial and error, wanting to do this, wanting to do that, but ultimately, I wanted to create a simple, stylish, showroom-like factory. With that vision in mind, we have built such a splendid factory. I want to manage it in a way that people will still say it is a clean company five or ten years from now.”
Kimura Sekkei Co., Ltd.: “Since this factory handles aluminum parts, we chose a silver color scheme. To avoid monotony, we used black, which is the favorite color of the president of Ike Co., Ltd., to give it a sharp look. Considering the working environment for the employees, we received a request to plan an open dining room, so we designed a dining room and terrace on the first floor on the opposite side of the prefectural road, creating a strong sense of unity.”
