We construct a production line that can respond to customer ‘s demand flexibly by combining modules of each production process depending on demand fluctuations of quantity and models. In addition, we pursue high productivity and rapid horizontal application by connecting the modules coordinately with IoT.

Regarding automation of machining process, we develop not only a system with machining centers and operators but also a system with machining centers and robots. As a next step, we now work on automation of workpiece supply and in-process inspection with image processing.

Since the assembly process has many difficulties to realize automation, we consider we should not rely whole process on robots but promote collaboration of robots and operators.

In transport process, we work on connecting the automated warehouse and the production lines by transportation of workpiece with AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle). We give careful consideration to automation of unloading product to be shipped with AGF (Automated Guided Forklift) in the future.

Under Kaizen activities how to operate the modularized production facilities efficiently, the most difficult thing is to get a detailed and realistic picture of how much time is spent on which works. The key is IoT, and device introduction and software development are indispensable. We develop our own systems, taking into account the compatibility of analog and digital systems in the midst of a mixture of old and new equipment and operations.
